Earwigs are of great benefit as pest controllers. However, they can also become pests when they eat crops. They are completely harmless to humans.

For humans, the larvae of the Bombycidae and the caterpillars of the silkmoth (silkworms) are of importance. These caterpillars are considered pests especially in gardens and monoculture farming, because an infestation leads to significant crop losses. Lepidopterans which suck blood or tears are considered to be disease vectors.

...er or directly in the ground in which they remain, sometimes even for years, resting before they pupate. Adult Tenthredinidae have lifespans of only a few days or a few weeks. Tenthredinidae include some species that are economically important plant pests.
>> Wasps -> Common Sawflies
Rhogogaster viridis appear in the summer months, mainly in vegetation-rich areas (forests, gardens, parks and hedgerows), where they hunt and eat insectson shrubs or herbaceous plants. They also reduce the numbers of pests.

After mating, the fertilized females lay their eggs on plants. The eggs overwinter. The larvae which hatch in late April, are also predatory. Excentricus planicornis are considered useful as they destroy many plant pests and are especially appreciated in orchards.
>> Bugs -> Capsid bugs -> Excentricus planicornis
Mites both carry and cause diseases and can trigger allergies (house dust mite). They can also cause damage where food is stored (Acarus siro). Some types of mites, however, are useful. Gamasid mites exterminate plant pests and some species are put to good use in the production of certain cheeses.
>> Arachnids -> Mites and Ticks
...ough the hatched larvae’s direct entry into the host animal. Usually the host animals die before the larvae’s development is complete. The pupation of the larvae usually occurs outside the host animal. Since the larvae of many tachina flies kill pests, they are very welcome in the agriculture and forestry industry.
>> Flies -> Tachina Flies
Meal moths are active from June to August. The caterpillars occur in September and are considered pests. They cause damage flour products and are making them inedible. The caterpillars overwinter once or twice. In May they pupate. The meal moth can produce up to 5 new generations a year, depending on conditions.
