Some examples of genera of small-headed flies are: Acrocera, Astomella, Corononcodes, Cyrtus, Eulonchus, Lasia, Ocnaea, Ogcodes, Oligoneura, Opsebius, Philopota, Pterodontia and Turbopsebius. In Germany there are 8 known species while in North America there are approximately ten times as many. |
