The lauxaniid flies (Lauxaniidae) are a family in the order two-winged flies (Diptera), the suborder true flies (Brachycera), the infraorder Muscomorpha (section: Schizophora, subsection: Acalyptrata) and the superfamily Lauxanioidea.
