Root-maggot flies
...(Anthomyiidae) form a family in the order two-winged flies (Diptera), the suborder flies (Brachycera), the infraorder Muscomorpha (division: Schizophora, subdivision: Calyptrata) and the superfamily Muscoidea. They are divided into the subfamilies Anthomyiinae and Pegomyinae. The two subfamilies include the following tribes: Anthomyiini, Chirosiini, Hydrophoriini, Pegomyini and Myopinini.

Hylemya strenua
...a species in the genus Hylemya, in the order two-winged flies (Diptera), the suborder flies (Brachycera), the infraorder Muscomorpha (division: Schizophora; subdivision: Calyptrata), the superfamily Muscoidea, the family Anthomyiidae, the subfamily Anthomyiinae and the tribe Anthomyiini. Hylemya strenua are found from the Arctic Circle to North Africa.
